Saturday Sky
Hillsboro, Oregon
I had to wait most the day just to get this shot. The morning was filled with rain. The Solstice Slip sock is going by quickly. I actually have the pattern repeat memorized right now and expect to have the socks finished in a few days.

Mery Christmas

Hope everyone had a great day today. Little Nicholas actually got well enough to open his presents and play some. We actually got some snow flurries today so that was a pleasant surprise. I'll take some pictures of what I received this year (2 Zimmermann books - yeah!!!) when I get time and if I actually remember. Plus there were other gifts as well.

Sock-it-to-me Sunday

Here are the next two pairs of socks that will be knit next. Both pairs are from this year's Rockin' Sock Club. I had already started the Soltsice Slip socks some time ago but had to work on some other socks first. They are both also on the Top 10 Stash Projects KAL list. I am really looking forward to next year's sock club. Since I had already got in on Rockin' Sock Club 2008 before the KAL, than it doesn't count against the stash along. Plus it is sock yarn and we all know that sock yarn doesn't count anyway.

Saturday Sky and more
This little bag will be a Christmas gift for my niece Brittany. She is a girly-girl so she should like the colors.

Clear and chilly in Hillsboro...
Pay It Forward Exchange: Finally I get to play along. I had seen this on so many blogs lately but I kept being a tad late with signing up. Finally I was able to thru My Knitting and Me.
Let me tell you about it, these are the instructions:
“It’s the Pay It Forward Exchange. It’s based on the concept of the movie “Pay it Forward” where acts or deeds of kindness are done without expecting something in return, just passing it on, with hope that the recipients of the acts of kindness are passed on. So here’s how it works. I will make and send a handmade gift to the first 3 people who leave a comment to this post on my blog requesting to join this PIF exchange. I do not know what that gift will be yet, and it won’t be sent this month, probably not next month, but it will be sent (within 6 months) and that’s a promise! What YOU have to do in return, then, is pay it forward by making the same promise on your blog.I will now Pay It Forward to you THREE, I wonder who you will be?! Please, be a PIF! You will enjoy it just as much as we do!”
And, remember…you have 6 months to get your gifts done! Come on, you know you would love to be one of my angels. Then, one day, but you don’t know when….you will get a gift that I have made especially for YOU!
Please remember, you don’t have to knit or crochet to participate, anyone who can make a nice handmade gift is welcome to join.
If you are on Ravelry, there is a group set it for it as well.
