It was a dreary and wet day today in Tualatin. This picture is from the back yard of a house that we were looking at here in Tualatin. I'll have to admit that it is cute and I loved the hardwood floors plus the skylights in two of the bathrooms. The only thing that was that the kitchen was a lil on the small side but workable. But hey, its only the first house we have actually gotten a tour of and we have seen a few others homes listed that look promising.
Despite the cloudy day, we did go out for some last minute items. The stores were really busy and the drivers were all in a hurry. But the good news is I got some great items in the mail.
It was actually a beautiful day so we took advantage and got some shopping done. We hit the Ulta shop over in Beaverton and I got some bath items along with a cute cable bag. I'll take a picture of the bag later.
A box of yummy goodness made its way all the way from The Windy City aka Chicago, Illinois. I think my partner Jodi must have been spying on me. How else would she know that I have been coveting yarn from Perchance to Knit. And there it is in all its glory in the ChaCha colorway. There was a cute lil stitch marker with it as well. Even the hubby thinks that the color is great and will make a nice pair of socks. Plus I also received some Ivy Cottage Scone Mix by Caffe D' Armore in Cinnamon Oatmeal, Chocolate Sticks Cappuccino by Rademaker, coffee by Godiva in Creme Brulee and some amaretto flavored coffee from The Cofee & Tea Exchange. And last but not least, the most perfect coffee mug. Thank you soooo much!!!!
Since making that one necklace, I have made two more necklaces and two cute lil pairs of earrings. The blue and green set came from a kit I found at Michaels. I still have one more kit to do.
This also came yesterday. The cute lil bag came from White Willow and has my one deck of tarot cards in it. It is the perfect lil bag for a March baby like myself. The two cute lil notebooks are the Lime & Violet Paintchip Journal Set that was created by Cat & Monkey to help with Miss Violet's Insurance Sucks Fund. Here is Mt. Hood in all its glory. I managed to get this shot from the scenic view stop area just before exit 8 on I-205. Looks like alot of snow has fallen and should make for great skiing. I haven't been snow skiing since I was stationed at NAS Brunswick (Brunswick, Maine) back in 1994 - 1997. Maine is a very beautiful state - especially in fall when all the leaves change colors.

And this lovely lil piece will be all mine. It is an exclusive sterling silver Martini Glass Shawl and Scarf pin by Designs by Romi and was only sold at Scout's Swag. Only 10 were being made right now and they are all sold out. After showing the hubby and getting him to understand what it was - he agreed that I should have one. Can hardly wait to see it in person.
A beautiful end to a clear but chilly day in Tualatin. It actually didn't rain today so we took the opportunity to do a lil Christmas shopping. Nathan went with me and the hubby took lil Nicholas. Plus I actually got some knitting done today. I am all caught up on knitting the dishcloth for the Monthly Dishcloth KAL. I am using Lion Brand Kitchen Cotten in Purple. I have no idea what its gonna be yet but its coming along nicely.
And lastly, here is a picture of my son - the clutz. He is doing just fine and it looks worse than it is. The lil one went running into the living room and smacked his head on the tv stand. As a result, we made a late day trip to Babies R Us for some cushiony corner guards so it won't happen again.
